NY Elite Magazine Exclusive Interview with Christian Music Artist James Whitehead

NY Elite: Your latest release is your new single “Washed Away”. What inspired this track? How does it differ from “Living Hope”?

James Whitehead: Washed Away is a reminder of what Jesus has done for us especially when we are facing difficult times. Living Hope is a celebration of who Jesus is.

NY Elite: What would you like your listeners to take away from “Washed Away”?

James Whitehead: To remember what our God has done for us and what he is capable of! The truth can really cheer you up and encourage you 

NY Elite: You worked with Tony Mac on this project. What was this experience like?

James Whitehead: I worked with my friend Tony Mac on this track and living Hope. It was a lot of fun I played acoustic guitar, did the vocals, and helped produce this. Tony played bass guitar, electric guitar, drums, and helped produce as well.

NY Elite: What are thankful for lately?

James Whitehead: I’m thankful for the process of learning God has me in. I feel like I’m developing many different skills, and I’m living a purposeful life.

NY Elite: What is your message for those who listen to your music and follow your ministry?

James Whitehead: With God you can accomplish anything you put your mind to. God will help you overcome all odds and setbacks. You can live a meaningful life 

NY Elite: What else are you working on?

James Whitehead: I’m working on my podcast, YouTube channel, sharing my content on multiple different platforms. Also building a home studio for my podcast and music recording!

NY Elite: What scripture would you like to share that has spoken to you recently?

James Whitehead: Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

This has been on my spirit lately and I think it’s because God wants us to know that our hard work pays off if we do it for him.
