NY Elite: Congratulations on being an ISC finalist. What does it mean for your work to be selected at the International Screenwriting Competition in New York?

Khushnuda Ansari: Thank you for your congratulations. My work being selected at the International Screenwriting Competition in New York probably means that they have read my story and maybe they liked it.

NY Elite: Can you tell us about the work that you participated with at ISC? What is the story about?

Khushnuda Ansari: My story named “MARIGOLD” is a Fantasy, Family feature length script which is also my first script for which I participated in ISC.

NY Elite: Can you tell us yourself and your artistic talents?

Khushnuda Ansari: I am a new writer now and I have written my story on the basis of goodness.  I also read scripts of other writers, which gives me something to learn.

NY Elite: What scripts have you written so far?

Khushnuda Ansari: I have written three scripts till now but only one script is completed for which I have attended ISC.

NY Elite: What type of scripts do you want to write in your career?

Khushnuda Ansari: I like to write a mix of Magical life and reality life together, so I want to write a Fantasy Family Screenplay.

NY Elite: As a writer, what is the most important aspect of building a character?

Khushnuda Ansari: I think, the most important aspect of character building is any trouble the character is concerned about and then a series goes on.  

NY Elite: What projects are you currently working on?

Khushnuda Ansari: I am currently working on my second Fantasy Family Adventure script which is about a Magical Land ‘ where nothing new is forbidden’.

NY Elite: What advice would you give to someone who wants to have a career in filmmaking/writing?

Khushnuda Ansari: According to me, constantly working hard and having patience and in the meantime have faith in yourself which often falters.
