Soccer player Gentian Ameti has been in the news recently as a potential scout for Real Madrid. Ameti is arguably one of the best young talents in Belgium in the world of football. He is talked about as the generation of the rising young stars.
Gentian Ameti was born in 11/16/1991 in Kumanovo, Northern Macedonia to Albanian parents Afrim (journalist) and Emsale Ameti (hair stylist). In 2009 he and his family moved to Brussels, Belgium for a better life.
“At the beginning it was challenging for me to adapt to a new life, learn a new language and culture but I have grown to love life in Belgium. I am grateful for the opportunities it has given me,” said Gentian Ameti for NY Elite Magazine.
Ameti’s career quickly excelled as he became a big hit in Belgium. At the age of 14 he started in the U-16 games and moved his way up to U-17 and then U-19, and now U-21, where he became famous as one of the greatest goal scorers.
He was part of FC Kosova Scharbeek and from 2017-2018 he joined FC Scharbeek, Team A. During this time out of 30 soccer matches, 18 were successful where he won the championship and became part of League 4.
“I started playing soccer outdoors on the street, where a soccer trainer discovered my talent. He invited me for try-outs with the seventeen years old age group and the rest became history. Even though I started playing soccer professionally at the age of 17, with my hard work and dedication I managed to earn my spot at League 3 in Belgium,” added Gentian Ameti.
Currently Gentian Ameti plays in the Third League in Belgium. Within six months, he was integrated into the U-21 games and in three months he scored 16 goals with Team A, third league for FC Schaerbeek A. His streak of winning home league matches has made Ameti’s coach proud.
“I have had some of the greatest coaches and mentors in my life such as Ilir Likaj, Mahir Demiral, and Tiko Tsholola who have been essential to my success and have helped me in my soccer career. My coaches taught me a deep love for discipline, patience, and they instilled in me to practice. I hope that my 100 percent effort, 100 percent of the time will make both my coaches and parents proud, for all the sacrifices they have made for me,” stated Gentian Ameti.
Ameti is an amazing and brilliant soccer player who has the quality of success at both club and international level. He has won league titles and championships and could one day become a household name in the world of soccer.
The soccer’s elite scouts from France, Germany, Austria, and Italy have expressed interest in Gentian Ameti. Several other soccer clubs have also talked to him expressing interest, including KF Shkëndija Tiranë, Skopje, Macedonia, and other clubs in the Balkans.
