National Ballet of Kosovo received the Excellence Award in Arts in Capitol Hill

The National Ballet of Kosovo received the noteworthy artistic achievement in the field of arts by the United States Congress on May 28, 2021. At the request of the honorable United States Senator Charles Schumer, the American flag was flown over the Congressional building in Washington DC, to commemorate the United Nations World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development.

Schumer, United States Senator, this flag is flown in honor of Kreshnik Musolli, National Ballet of Kosovo in honor of the outstanding achievement of Excellence Award in Arts in remembrance of World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development. Thank you for strengthening US-Kosovo relations, cultural expressions and for your artistic excellence.”

“We are thrilled that United States has recognized the hard work and the artistic vision of the National Ballet of Kosovo and the wonderful collaboration our troupe had with the renowned American choreographer Robert North. We are excited to build the cultural bridge between United States and Kosovo and we look forward to future collaborations, and perhaps even a tour of our troupe in the US in the near future. Award Winning National Ballet of Kosovo, “Entre dos Aguas” & “Troy Game” show

On April 15, 2021 the National Ballet of Kosovo premiered in Prishtina the critically acclaimed show “Entre dos Aguas” & “Troy Game”, choreographed by the renowned American choreographer and artistic director Robert North. The success of the National Ballet of Kosovo was featured on popular US magazines including 1212 Magazine, NY Glamour and NY Elite Magazine. Founded in 1972 the National Ballet of Kosovo continues to attract leading celebrities from the global dance industry. 

The National Ballet of Kosovo has contributed to the vibrancy of the arts and culture and increased access to arts experiences in Kosovo. The extraordinary ballet troupe has influenced and elevated the arts and culture in Kosovo through outstanding vision, leadership and creativity. Choreographer and acting director Kreshik Musolli continues to lead the National Ballet of Kosovo with his unique vision producing high artistic quality shows full of creativity and innovation.
