Niki Musolli honored with the Excellence Award in Arts in Washington DC

Renowned choreographer and ballet dancer Niki Musolli received the Excellence Award in Arts on May 28, 2021 in honor of United Nations World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development. The award honored Niki Musolli and the National Ballet of Kosovo for outstanding creative achievements in performing arts.

At the request of the honorable US Senator Charles Schumer, the US flag was flown at the Capitol Hill, accompanied by the certificate stating:

“At the request of the honorable Charles E. Schumer, United States Senator, this flag is flown in honor of Kreshnik Musolli, National Ballet of Kosovo in honor of the outstanding achievement of Excellence Award in Arts in remembrance of World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development. Thank you for strengthening US-Kosovo relations, cultural expressions and for your artistic excellence.”

The National Ballet of Kosovo received critical acclaim from international and US media with the success of “Entre dos Aguas” & “Troy Game”, choreographed by the famous American choreographer and artistic director Robert North. The show premiered in Prishtina on April 15, 2021. The success of the National Ballet of Kosovo was featured on popular US magazines including 1212 Magazine, NY Glamour and NY Elite Magazine. Founded in 1972 the National Ballet of Kosovo continues to attract leading celebrities from the global dance industry.
